As far back as I can remember, I’ve possessed a blazing passion for art, fashion and all things glamorous! At a young age, an entrepreneurial spirit was stirring inside of me. My parents friends were constantly inundated with little Odessa trying to sell them carefully drawn pictures of princesses and unicorns. This creative character of mine was watered down as a young adult. Looking back I can see that too much time was spent in the presence of non-dreamers, the ones that tell you the only way to make it is working hard for someone else. Sadly that is where I spent the majority of the next two decades of life.
That stirring spirit was always there telling me I could be so much more. One day I decided to listen. I put myself through art school, with a focus on fashion, still working my job as well. After graduation, there were a number of jobs and internships available but I just could not stomach the idea of continuing to build someone else’s dream. I had been experimenting with silk painting and over time it became my artistic niche. Soon I developed a unique line of one-of-a-kind clothing featuring painted silk dresses. My client list grew and I am very proud to say, I have created many elegant and outrageous pieces for amazing humans around the globe. My art has branched out into interior design, featuring fine art prints and retail merchandise. I consult on a variety of projects including home renovations and boutique hotel decor. In building my dreams I found that I love to help others achieve the best version of themselves as well. It’s magical to see people succeed.
My first passion is taking care of the little creative girl inside of me. My happiest days are spent splashing paint around my studio and creating fresh works of art. Secondly I thrive on connecting and promoting others. You’ll find me taking part in a wide range of events, from art shows to restaurant openings, I consult, plan, promote and attend.
Life is what you make it, I’m thrilled I chose to follow my dreams.
